🛑 Stop! Turtles Crossing! 🛑 Visitors to Cooloola Recreation Area had a recent surprise as Teewah Beach came alive with hatchlings making a dash for the sea! We’re asking visitors to Teewah Beach to please be aware that the turtle hatchlings are currently emerging from their nests and braving the crossing from the dunes to the shore. Motorists on the beach are being asked to exercise caution while travelling particularly to plan ahead to:
